Taste The Funk
I’m trying to branch out in the music that I listen to, but without a guide or some sort of word of mouth, it’s quite difficult. I heard some afro cuban funk that just blew my mind the other day, but it’s one track, it’s buried on some CD that I have in my car, and it probably doesn’t even have a name. I also heard a sweet track from the Lafayette afro rock band (or something like that) that was really great, but I hunted down an album by that band, and I wasn’t too terribly impressed… maybe it was just the wrong album. Well, till then, I guess I’m left scouring the internet for juicy tidbits of the funky stuff.
