As I was saying before I got caught up in my rant, you can buy weight loss supplements just about everywhere these days. They advertise themselves as “lipo without the surgery”. Now, not all these pills will make your rear end leak fluid or give you a heart attack, but the ones that don’t require work.

My husband and I have recently decided to get Healthy. Not to get skinny (if the pounds come off too, yay) but simply to make our lives a little less risky. I am under the opinion that if you are going to do the work anyway to lose the weight then whats all the hype? Just do a couple sit ups and stop eating candy bars before bed, and WHAMO, next thing you know, those pants you struggled to get into and wore a big shirt to cover the pooch are fitting like they did when you were 15.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that even though alot of people would rather spend 2 months starving themselves and taking diet pills, I’d rather just get off my lazy butt and walk to the post office rather than just jumping in the car for the 3 block trip.

Besides, isn’t walking good for your heart?
