I Sold A Song!
I don’t talk about it much, but I make electronic music as a hobby. When I say I make electronic music, I don’t mean that the style is electronic, I mean that I use synthesizers and a computer to make the music. The style is usually hiphop or funk. Yesterday I sold my first track.
I only made $3 for the song, but I’ve been making music for eight years and I’ve never seen a penny from it, so this was exciting.
The site that I sold the song on uses some sort of business performance management software to track page views and sales of your music, and I wasn’t seeing a lot of traffic on my songs. I honestly didn’t think I would sell a darn thing until yesterday.
So this was pretty exciting for me, but it would be more exciting if it was more than three bucks.
