Ghost Ridin’ (AKA you’re a dumbass)
Hip Hop has seen some crazy trends.. from wearing backwards hats, to wearing big clocks as jewelery, there’s always been something begging to be ridiculed. And the ‘ghost riding’ phenomena is no exception. Apparently, it has become fashionable to exit your vehicle while it is in motion. Try explaining that to your insurance company. What’s worse is that these guys are surely raising the insurance rates for all under 25 year old drivers. In case you still don’t understand the scope of this idiocy, I’ll provide you with a music video about this trend:
Apparently, it’s become cool to ride on the outside of a vehicle. Of course, exiting your vehicle while it is running and in motion presents all sorts of opportunities for things to go horribly wrong, the least of which you’ll see happen here:
As you can see, looking like a buffoon is now the least of this guy’s problems. Here’s another fine example of how you too can look like a complete idiot while undermining your own masculinity:
In the comments about this video, the guy explains that it’s his sister’s bicycle, and his is broken… I wonder why. Not only is he prancing ever so daintily, it’s a pink bicycle to boot.
So you see , even if you don’t own a car, there’s still a chance for you to ‘ghost ride’ … I wonder if there are ghost riding skateboarders? How about ghost riding homeless people who dance alongside their unmanned shopping carts?
