Cat-in-a-box
Our kitty Screecher just loves boxes. It’s the funniest thing- if you put a new box down, she’ll be in it within a minute. Even if the box is obviously way too small for her to fit, she’ll spend a few minutes trying to wriggle her way inside. I think it’s because when she was a kitten, I made a big kitty play pen out of a bunch of boxes. It might as well have been a series of dollhouses , but cardboard is a much more flexible construction material than plastic, and it is easier to make the doorways bigger to accomodate growing cats. I’d have to dig in the archives to find a picture of screech in a box, but I do have a video of her scratching at a shing box… that’s something else she does:
