“approved for APPROPRIATE AUDIENCES”- What?
I went to see Ice Age 3 in 3D this weekend. It was not too bad… pretty standard fare… but this is the third installment in the series, so my expectations weren’t all that high to begin with.
What really struck me as odd was the green MPAA banner before the previews. Instead of being approved for genreal audiences or whatever- it said it was “approved for APPROPRIATE AUDIENCES”. I thought it was odd, my wife thought it was odd, and I even heard someone in the theater comment about it as well. It seems like a really vague statement… “approved for appropriate audiences” could mean just about anything.
