A Dentist Gets on Everybody’s Nerves.

As a normal notion, I don’t care for dentists. The offices make me nervous, not to mention the tools and the oncoming pain since no one ever listens regarding the fact that Novacane doesn’t work that well on me. However, the office that I went to today for my husbands appointment changed my mind. It was HUGE first of all, for a dentists office. Individual xray machines in each room, and the nicest staff of any dentist office I have ever been in. Not to mention the staff hooked us up with a company called Care Credit, (website is www.carecredit.com), which turns out is like a credit card for dental appointments. It gives us a year interest free to pay off any procedure that we have done. Concidering that in total with just what he needs done currently is going to run us about $2500 for an extraction, root canal and cap.

Im not sure about you, but $2,500 is alot of money for us. That is rent for 5 months. When the lady came into the back and told me that it was going to run that much and that we only have a $1,500 limit and we have to pay like nearly $1,000 over the next month, I almost passed out. We barely make it right now as is, and someone wants two months rent?! But then she told me that I just needed to call those care credit people and ask for an increase in my credit limit through the company to be able to afford (Feasibly) the work that needs to be done.

Even my husband, who is a HUGE chicken when it comes to dentists, said that this was a place that he could be happy to go to for regular office visits. So maybe this was a blessing in disguise.

Only time will tell.
